Indoor and outdoor storage: different rules. It is best to store indoors. Moisture, high temperature (or significant temperature difference), and light are all factors that accelerate rubber aging. These factors have a greater impact in places with more sunshine and/or storms (the presence of ozone).
The storage area must be large enough to allow the handling equipment to move freely without any risk of friction or collision with the tires.
The key is to meet the following conditions: Maximum outdoor storage period: 4 months· The ground is clean, the drainage is good, and there are no rough areas that damage the tires. Avoid grasslands or muddy areas:
·Do not store near powdered materials, flammable materials, or pollutants (such as oil, hydrogen compounds in the case of grease, etc.); Stay away from welding equipment, battery chargers, and any so-called ozone sources (power plants, transformers, etc.): In well ventilated and non condensing conditions, cover the tires with opaque fabric.
